About Us

MeltCoinValue publishes live melt values for US coins and spot prices for silver, gold, platinum, palladium and copper in US dollars, along with calculators and plain-English guides for people who want to know what their coins and scrap metal are worth.

Our numbers are calculated from live market prices and official coin specifications. Read how we calculate melt values and our editorial policy.
